34007 Wadebridge, SR West Country Class
A preserved SR West Country Class 4-6-2 Pacific, built at Brighton Works in 1945 as one of the first production batch, SR No. 21C107. Withdrawn from British Railways service in 1965. Rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry, South Wales in 1980 and acquired for preservation.
Wadebridge is one of the few preserved West Country / Battle of Britain class locomotives never to have been rebuilt by British Railways, retaining her original Bulleid air-smoothed casing and chain-driven valve gear throughout. In preservation she is owned and operated by Southern Locomotives Ltd, based at the Mid-Hants Railway.
Last recorded as based at the Mid-Hants Railway, owned by Southern Locomotives Ltd. Operating status: Heritage railway service / cycles. Current livery: SR malachite green.

34007 Wadebridge was built at Brighton Works in 1945 as one of the first batch of West Country class locomotives, carrying SR number 21C107. One of the class never rebuilt by British Railways, she retains her original Bulleid air-smoothed casing and chain-driven valve gear throughout her service and preservation career. Withdrawn in 1965, she was rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry in 1980. In preservation she is owned and operated by Southern Locomotives Ltd and based at the Mid-Hants Railway, where she is a regular performer in original unrebuilt condition. She has been overhauled to mainline standards and her owners have announced plans for mainline excursion work.
