35010 Blue Star, SR Merchant Navy Class
A preserved SR Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 Pacific, built at Eastleigh Works in 1942 as SR No. 21C10. Withdrawn from British Railways service in 1965. Rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry, South Wales in 1988.
35010 Blue Star is currently in unrestored condition, awaiting restoration by the British Enginemen Steam Preservation Society.
Last recorded as stored at the Colne Valley Railway, owned by British Enginemen Steam Preservation Society. Operating status: Awaiting restoration.

Notable history
35010 Blue Star was built at Eastleigh Works in 1942 as SR No. 21C10, entering service from Salisbury on West of England expresses. Withdrawn in 1965 and sent to Barry. Rescued from Barry in 1988 and currently stored at the Colne Valley Railway awaiting restoration, owned by the British Enginemen Steam Preservation Society.
