7822 Foxcote Manor, GWR 7800 Manor Class
A preserved GWR Manor Class 4-6-0, built at Swindon Works in 1950. Rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry, South Wales and restored to working order. Based at the Llangollen Railway in North Wales — an appropriate home for a class designed for the lighter secondary routes of the GWR's Welsh and border network.
Last recorded as based at the Llangollen Railway. Operating status: Heritage railway service / cycles. Current livery: GWR Brunswick green.

Notable history
7822 Foxcote Manor was built at Swindon Works in 1950 as one of the post-war series Manor class. Rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry and restored to working order, she has been based at the Llangollen Railway in North Wales — an appropriate heritage railway home for a class designed primarily for the lighter secondary routes of the GWR, including the Welsh border and Welsh main lines. She has also been main-line certified and has worked excursion trains on the national network.
