7812 Erlestoke Manor, GWR 7800 Manor Class

A preserved GWR Manor Class 4-6-0, built at Swindon Works in 1938 as one of the original pre-war batch. Rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry, South Wales and restored to working order at the Severn Valley Railway, where it is a regular performer.

Last recorded as based at the Severn Valley Railway, owned by the Erlestoke Manor Fund. Operating status: Heritage railway service / cycles. Current livery: GWR Brunswick green.
