7808 Cookham Manor, GWR 7800 Manor Class

A preserved GWR Manor Class 4-6-0, built at Swindon Works in 1938 as one of the original twenty pre-war Manor class locomotives. Rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry, South Wales and restored by the Great Western Society at Didcot Railway Centre, where it is based as part of the heritage fleet.

Last recorded as based at Didcot Railway Centre, owned by the Great Western Society. Operating status: Heritage railway service / cycles. Current livery: GWR Brunswick green.
