73050 City of Peterborough, BR Standard Class 5MT
A preserved BR Standard Class 5MT 4-6-0 mixed-traffic locomotive, built at Swindon Works in 1954. Withdrawn from British Railways service in 1968 and named City of Peterborough in preservation. Rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry and based at the Nene Valley Railway, Peterborough.
Last recorded as based at the Nene Valley Railway, Peterborough. Operating status: Heritage railway service / cycles. Current livery: BR Brunswick green.
