Notable history
73082 was one of the ten Southern Region BR Standard Class 5MT engines (Nos 73080–73089) given Arthurian names taken from withdrawn LSWR/SR King Arthur Class engines, in continuation of the Southern's Arthurian naming tradition. Withdrawn from Eastleigh in September 1966 and acquired by the Bluebell Railway in October 1966, the first BR Standard 5MT to be preserved.
