45025, LMS Stanier Black Five

A preserved LMS Stanier Black Five 4-6-0, built in 1934. Rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry, South Wales and now based at the Strathspey Railway in the Scottish Highlands, one of a small number of preserved Black Fives with a Scottish heritage railway base.

Last recorded as based at the Strathspey Railway. Operating status: Heritage railway service / cycles. Current livery: LMS black.
