9351, GWR Mogul (rebuilt from 5193 Large Prairie)

A preserved gwr 5100 large prairie class locomotive, built in 1914.

Originally Large Prairie No. 5193; rebuilt as a 4300 Mogul at Williton (West Somerset Railway), completed 2004, the conversion mirrored the 1956 BR rebuilds of Mogul to Large Prairie that had been carried out at Wolverhampton.

Last recorded as based at the West Somerset Railway, owned by West Somerset Railway / private. Operating status: Working, heritage railway service. Current livery: GWR Brunswick green.
