20007, Class 20

Built as D8007 by English Electric at the Vulcan Foundry, Newton-le-Willows, and among the first of the class to enter traffic, going new to Devons Road, Bow in September 1957. The Class 20 was one of the few early diesel designs in its power range to prove genuinely reliable, which is why 228 of them were eventually built.
