80098, BR Standard Class 4MT 2-6-4T

A preserved BR Standard Class 4MT Tank 2-6-4T suburban and mixed-traffic tank locomotive, built at Brighton Works in 1955 to R. A. Riddles's design — one of twelve preserved examples of the class. Rescued from Woodham Brothers' scrapyard at Barry, South Wales and restored to working order in preservation.
