75029 The Green Knight, BR Standard Class 4MT (NYMR)
A preserved BR Standard Class 4MT 4-6-0, built at Swindon Works in 1954 to R. A. Riddles's design. Withdrawn from British Railways service in August 1967 and preserved directly without passing through Barry scrapyard, acquired by enthusiast Robert Cantrell immediately on withdrawal.
75029 was given the name The Green Knight by its private owner in preservation — no BR Standard Class 4MT 4-6-0 carried names in BR service. One of the most active of the six preserved examples of the class, based at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
Last recorded as based at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Operating status: Heritage railway service. Current livery: BR Brunswick green.

Notable history
75029 was completed at Swindon Works in 1954 and worked Western Region services through the late 1950s and 1960s. Withdrawn from Carnforth in August 1967, the engine was acquired by enthusiast Robert Cantrell who applied the "Green Knight" name in preservation, the engine was unnamed during its BR career. Currently a long-resident NYMR working engine.
