Record note: this locomotive was previously held twice on this site, as D172 (recorded at the Great Central Railway, BR two-tone green, owner given as "46045 Group") and as 46035 (recorded at Crewe Heritage Centre, BR rail blue). Both pre-dated 2024 and neither location matched current sources; the records were merged in August 2026 and the location re-checked. The "46045 Group" attribution appears to belong to a different locomotive. Current ownership is not confirmed by the sources consulted — it was in Pete Waterman’s collection during its main-line era in the 1990s.
