46233 Duchess of Sutherland, LMS Princess Coronation Class
A preserved LMS Princess Coronation Class 4-6-2 Pacific, built at Crewe Works in 1938 as LMS No. 6233. Withdrawn from British Railways service in 1964. Acquired by Sir Billy Butlin for display at Heads of Ayr holiday camp before passing to the Princess Royal Locomotive Trust.
46233 Duchess of Sutherland has been one of the most active preserved Coronation class Pacifics, operating extensively on the national main line including hauls of the Royal Train. Based at and displayed by the Midland Railway Centre, Butterley.
Last recorded as based at the Midland Railway Centre, Butterley, owned by Princess Royal Locomotive Trust. Operating status: Main-line certified. Current livery: LMS Crimson Lake.

46233 Duchess of Sutherland was built at Crewe Works in 1938 as LMS No. 6233.
