Alstom, Valencia

Alstom Valencia (the former MACOSA / Meinfesa works at Albuixech, near Valencia, Spain) is one of Alstom's major European rolling-stock manufacturing sites. The works has been part of GEC-Alsthom and Alstom since the early 1990s and supplies trains to operators across Europe and worldwide.

For UK customers, Alstom Valencia has supplied parts of orders for the Class 332 'Heathrow Express' EMU (Siemens design adapted by Alstom), the Class 458 'Juniper' EMU for South West Trains, and various other Coradia-platform DMUs and EMUs.
