Armstrong Whitworth, 1928, a preserved gwr 5600 locomotive built in 1923. Withdrawn from British Railways service in 1966. Acquired for preservation in 1967.
6697 was the very last GWR 5600 Class in BR service, withdrawn from Newport Ebbw Junction in November 1966. Acquired for preservation in 1967, the engine was restored at the SVR.
Last recorded as based at the Severn Valley Railway. Operating status: Heritage railway service. Current livery: GWR Brunswick green.
