British Rail Class 365 Networker DC

The Class 365 Networker DC is an alternative name sometimes used for the Class 365 Networker Express when referring specifically to its 750 V DC third-rail operating mode for Kent Coast services. The Class 365 is a dual-voltage EMU capable of both 25 kV AC overhead (Great Northern routes) and 750 V DC third rail (Southern Region routes). The ‘Networker DC’ designation was used in some NSE planning documents to distinguish the DC-capable configuration from AC-only Networker variants.
